Clint grew up in Lake Orion, Michigan. He attended Lake Orion High School where he played football, basketball, and baseball. He found his passion for running and won the state individual XC championship in 1992.
He represented Eastern Michigan University in varsity cross country and track, winning the Mid-American Conference Cross Country title in 1995. In 1998 he won the “Most Outstanding Performance” at the MAC track championships. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in Sports Medicine in 1998.
Running professionally for the Hansons-Brooks Project, Clint qualified for 4 US Olympic trials. He finished 17th at the IAAF World Championships, 10th at the Boston Marathon, and 5th at the USA Olympic Marathon Trials.
Clint graduated from Wayne State University’s Physical Therapy program in 2001. In 2004, he founded Clint Verran Sports Medicine. CVSM has successfully treated over 5,000 injured runners since 2004. Click here for Clint’s complete credentials.
