Laurie Kowalick, PT, OMPT started working at Clint Verran Sports Medicine in August 2018. She has worked in the Rochester/Auburn Hills area as a Physical Therapist for several years. She is a graduate from Daemen College, Amherst NY and then completed her Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy at Oakland University. Laurie specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine with a strong emphasis in manual therapy. She has certifications in the following: Graston (Instrumented Assistive Soft Tissue), SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment), and Sportsmetrics (ACL prevention program through Cincinnati Sports Medicine) to name a few.
Laurie is married and has two adult children. She is very active when not at work enjoying sports related activities including cycling, skiing and yoga. She also enjoys spending time with her family out west hiking in the mountains.
Laurie’s philosophy is to stay as active and healthy as possible, promoting wellness and fitness to her patients. Her goal is to help patients achieve their fitness goals with the proper mix of exercises including a strong core, good flexibility and correct movement patterns with exercise.
